The Fourth of July is in two days…just in case you didn’t know.

Necessary supplies for your 4th of July firework viewing:

  • Earplugs (to limit reaction from big boomers)
  • Patience
  • Sunglass (to limit bright colors and bursts)
  • Patience
  • Blanket (to reduce itchy factors)
  • Patience
  • Snacks (to eat while you wait)
  • Patience
  • Games (to play while you wait)
  • Patience
  • Quick Exit (in case it causes meltdown)
  • Patience

Or just stay home.

  1. I’ll admit that I stayed home until MJ was 9 years old. He wasn’t interested and couldn’t stand the noise. Then the year we moved back to Florida it changed. Now he loves the fireworks and doesn’t even ask for the ear plugs!

    • We did too – took Tucker when he was young and he was scared and just antsy. Now – he’s sort of ‘ho-hum’ about it all. Maybe one day he’ll get fired up…and maybe not. Either way – it doesn’t REALLY matter 😉
